A. Yes, we are registered with the homeowner protection office and Aviva Canada is our insurance provider.

Q. Can you oversee the building of our home from start to finish?
A. Yes, from concept to completion, we will deliver.

Q. How much do you charge?
A. Every job is different. When we are presented with a set of blueprints, we sit down and do a budget analysis. Our fee for managing the project is based on a percentage of the building cost but this can vary depending on the complexity of the build, types of finishing, location, etc.

Q. What is a good rule of thumb to go by for doing a rough estimate on the cost of constructing my home?
A. Currently, I would say that we can comfortably build your home at a rate of between $130 and $140 per sq ft. Your choices make the difference. You may choose stone counters instead of laminates, hardwood floors as opposed to laminates. Your choice of heating the home is also a big factor.

Q. What sub-trades do you use?
A. Most of our sub-trades, we have been using for years. Some have been with us since the start in 2003. We have developed relationships that have turned into friendships and these are guys that answer when we call upon them.

Q. How long can I expect my home to take to be built?
A. Again, that depends on the size and complexity of the build. For a typical single family home of average size, we like to offer a 6 month time frame.

Q. Do you just build single family homes?
A. No, we have done several multifamily projects over the years but have found that our preference is to keep it smaller and more personable. It also keeps our quality good and our focus strong.

Q. Why should I choose you over the next builder?
A. You have to do your homework and I would strongly advise that you get at least a couple of referrals. All I can say about us is that we strive for customer satisfaction, we know what we are doing and we offer not only a great product but a great experience.

Q. Do you guys wear your kilts at work?
A. We try not to, as our kilts cost about $1000 to make and we may have a few issues with the public if we were to be working off of ladders.
